Eurockéennes Rock Festival
Solid as a rock!
Every summer, a nature reserve in Malsaucy near the town of Belfort hosts one of France’s biggest rock music festivals, Eurockéennes de Belfort.
In its twenty years of existence, the cutting-edge festival has gained a reputation for showcasing a wide range of artists, with homegrown talent sharing one of the three open stages with established international acts. The lake, hillside and beach provide a beautiful setting for incredible live performances and innovative collaborations. Although the spotlight is on rock, there’s also room for the latest trends within other genres such as hip-hop, electro, techno and world music. To date, some 1,500,000 festival-goers have already been part of the Eurockéennes adventure.
Since 1989, the line-up has included INXS, Mano Negra, Bob Dylan, Lenny Kravitz, Björk, NTM, The Chemical Brothers, Placebo, Radiohead, Portishead, The Cranberries and more recently Daft Punk, Amy Winehouse and Laurent Garnier.
