For its 16th edition, the Lyonnais festival is going from 4 to 8 days. Some forty artists are expected between May 6th and May 13th in the city's classical and industrial heritage sites.

This year more than ever, Les Nuits Sonores de Lyon promises a rich and innovative edition.

The electro-lyonnais festival expands from 4 to 8 days, during which some 40 artists will perform at La Piscine du Rhône, in the former Fagor-Brandt factories, at Transbordeur, at Sucrière, at Sucre and at the Auditorium de Lyon.

The festival claims to offer "a musical journey as well as an urban immersion", and promises "longer days than your nights", with daytime programming ever richer.

Four artists will animate these days "A day with ...": Jennifer Cardini, Daniel Avery, Four Tet and Paula Temple. Note also the exceptional presence of Washington Kamasi, carrier of the "jazz revival", which will give a special concert on May 8th

Finally, as part of its European We Are Europe program, the festival Nuits Sonores hosts 3 partner festivals from Spain, Norway and the Balkans, respectively Sónar (Barcelona), Insomnia (Tromsø), and Resonate (Belgrade), who will each co-program artists within the Lyonnais festival.
