Since 1998, Tulle has been home to the "Nuits de Nacre" festival taking place mid-September.
The "nacreous nights" were founded by a local, a Corrézien who loved music and sought to share it with the masses.
The event gained momentum when, between 1990 and 1992, Richard Galliano became the artistic director. Following these early years of the event, the festival went through a slower period. But the programme has since become what it used to be, an emblem of variety and richness, both in terms of performances and the venues where concerts are played: marquees, concerts halls, cafes, bars, brasseries, public squares, schools, etc. There will be activities, dance classes, concerts and exhibitions for you to enjoy with the whole family.
